Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued by BACKENDGO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED (RC [registration no. on file]). Because we provide digital products and professional technology services, refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase and the extent to which the product has been accessed or the work has commenced.

1. Refund Eligibility

Digital products (templates, e-books, software, course access)

  • A refund may be requested within 7 days of purchase provided the digital product has not been downloaded, accessed, or activated (for courses, provided no more than 20% of the content has been consumed).
  • Once a licence key or download has been delivered and used, the product is generally non-refundable.

Service engagements (web/mobile development, cloud, IT consulting)

  • Before work commences: a full refund (less any non-recoverable third-party costs) is available.
  • After work has commenced: refunds are calculated on a milestone basis — you are charged for completed and in-progress milestones, and any unearned balance is refunded.
  • After final delivery and acceptance: the engagement is considered complete and is non-refundable.

2. Non-Refundable Items

  • Digital products that have been downloaded, activated, or substantially consumed.
  • Completed and accepted service engagements or milestones.
  • Third-party fees, licences, or hosting costs already incurred on your behalf.
  • Discounted or promotional purchases marked as final sale.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email backendgotech@gmail.com with your order number, the product or engagement in question, and the reason for your request. We aim to review and respond to all requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days.

4. Currency

Refunds are issued in the original currency of the transaction. Naira (NGN) refunds are processed in compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations. Where a payment was made in USD, the refund is returned via the original payment method.
